The Original Petty Creek Ranch - PC Bar Brand
We are Wayne and Terina Williams, stewards of Petty Creek Mountain Ranch, The Ultimate Wilderness Ranch Experience in Western Montana. Petty Creek Mountain Ranch is a 710 Acre Ranch connected to the 2 Million acres Lolo National Forest, and is a 25-minute drive west of Missoula Airport (MSO) and 2 hour Drive from Coeur 'd Alene, Idaho. Petty Creek Canyon is home to 1 of the 45 bands of Bighorn Sheep in Montana and it is common to see them on and leading into the ranch. We are a working grass-fed and grass-finished Scottish Highlander ranch with weed-free hay and our family’s horses. We don’t own any Montana Wildlife, but it is common to see various wildlife on the ranch.
The ranch was purchased in 2018 and Wayne and Terina Williams partnered with Kevin and Teresa Cook to renovate the stunning old-growth log homes and structures and add a few more homes on the ranch. Design touches include a respectfully modern design to log homes while retaining the history of true log home construction and 100-plus years of history in the Canyon.
The lower pasturelands are at 3400' elevation and the ranch property climbs to 5200' and touches Lolo National Forest with up to 6500' cliffs. The backdrop of our canyon makes this excellent habitat for Mule Deer and Bighorn Sheep. The ranch was fortunate to add former Pack River Timber lands that were selectively cut and managed over the years, making high-quality access to near 2000' foot elevation climbs with roads and trails.
