The Cooks HOUSE
Built in 1980, this former garage/apartment was renovated in 2020. We reimagined this space and created a two (2) bedroom cabin with radiant heat and a large Chef’s Kitchen. While this is currently our owner's favorite little getaway, it was created to provide the perfect DIY or hired Chef’s area for retreats. Two (2) King Beds and a Queen Sofa Sleeper provide overnight stays for our guests. Sleeps 2 couples, 4 singles or a combination of both.
Cookin’ In Montana
Dream.
Sleep in luxury in either of the two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are outfitted with king beds. You’ll often see the ranch horses outside the south facing room, where you’ll often see wild turkeys and/or highland bulls out in the pasture in the north facing room. This quaint living space is a dream.
Ground.
Become grounded with the outdoors in the Cooks Cabin. The space was built using timber, rock, and large windows for natural light – as well as magnificent views. Building, cooking, and living sustainably is a natural way of life, in Montana. A prime location to ground oneself in Montana life.
Cook.
The Cooks Cabin was designed with hosting large groups and parties in mind. The spacious kitchen along with two grand rooms, with king beds, is a perfect space for smaller parties to stay, or a team of cooks/chefs to stay to cook and cater for you and your guests during your stay.
Eat.
If you stay in the Cooks Cabin, expect to be a part of the fun and the routine of cooking. With that in mind – expect to eat like kings and queens. With access to a large refrigerator, a gas range, an oven, a spacious pantry, and more… You’ll find it hard not to enjoy eating in this log cabin.

Features & Equipment
We have equipment that will be available to rent and use. Proficiency and familiarity without instruction will be required prior to use.
Accommodations
We have 1 fixed King Bed in all houses and the remaining beds are all split Kings or 2 TwinXL Beds that provide comfortable sleeping for singles as well as couples.
Reservations
With the exception of The Bighorn, all other houses are booked only through direct booking following a discussion and event request form filled out.
